As part of this commitment the organisation ensures that all its activities are carried out in conformance with the relevant environmental legislation and all compliance obligations to which the organisation subscribes in relation to its environmental aspects.
Synergy seeks to minimise waste, promote recycling, and where possible, to work with suppliers who themselves have sound environmental policies.
An essential feature of the environmental management system is a commitment to continually improving environmental performance. This is achieved by setting a framework of annual environmental improvement objectives and targets which are regularly monitored and reviewed.
Also, through regular review with our suppliers to identify new technology to offer energy efficient solutions to our customers. The objectives and targets are publicised throughout the organisation and all staff are committed to their achievement.
In anticipation of the continuing changes to environmental standards, regulatory requirements and customers’ expectations, this Policy will be implemented and maintained along with the Environmental Management System. The System will be periodically reviewed by senior management to ensure that it meets the business objectives.
In order to ensure the achievement of the above commitments, the organisation has implemented an environmental management system which satisfies the requirements of BS EN ISO 14001:2015.
This Policy and the obligations and responsibilities required by the environmental management system have been communicated to all employees and persons working on behalf of the organisation. The Policy is available to interested parties on request.

Synergy Commercial Lighting Ltd is committed to environmental responsibility and compliance with the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive.
As a provider of electronic products, we recognise our responsibility to minimise the environmental impact of our operations and products. We are dedicated to the proper disposal and recycling of electronic waste to reduce the burden on landfills and prevent harm to the environment.
In accordance with WEEE regulations, Synergy Commercial Lighting Ltd offers our customers the opportunity to return their old electronic equipment free of charge. This includes any electronic products bearing the WEEE symbol (a crossed-out wheeled bin) upon purchase of a similar new item. When supplied as B2B EEE the producer invokes regulation 12.2 and passes all WEEE obligations to the B2B end user.
