The Project
Adapting to a rapidly changing work landscape, Worldwide Clinical Trials, a renowned contract research organisation with a global presence, faced the challenge of transitioning to a hybrid working model where employees divided their time between remote and in-office work. Seeking to foster a sense of community and encourage more in-office collaboration, they embarked on creating a new Nottingham headquarters spanning 12,000 square feet (CAT B).
The Challenge
The goal was to craft an inspiring and welcoming workspace that resonated with their values while balancing modernity and sophistication. To meet this challenge, Office Innovations took charge and meticulously designed the new premises, skilfully incorporating key lighting and acoustic elements. The results surpassed expectations, as the thoughtfully crafted office environment not only invigorated staff morale but also elevated productivity and seamless interactions among team members, effectively thriving in the hybrid work model.

Office Innovations took on the challenge and meticulously designed the new premises to reflect the vision and values of Worldwide Clinical Trials.
Essential lighting and acoustic elements included:
Feature Pendant Lighting: Synergy Creativ supplied unique feature pendant lighting, such as the Polaris Hex and hexagon pendant, along with the captivating Sombrero Ring feature pendant. These lighting fixtures became focal points, adding elegance and innovation to the office environment.
LED Linear Lighting: The installation of Polaris 52 and Polaris 10 LED linear lighting provided a sleek and energy-efficient lighting solution, ensuring ample illumination throughout the workspace.
Downlights and Decorative Pendants: Strategically placed downlights offered focused brightness, enhancing productivity and maintaining visual comfort for employees.
Acoustic Ceiling Baffles and Wall Panels: Synergy Creativ implemented acoustic solutions to mitigate noise disruptions, creating a serene and focused working atmosphere.
