Habit Action, a renowned design and build firm, partnered with Synergy Creativ to revamp the lighting infrastructure for O’Connor Utilities, a leading UK utility contract services provider. O’Connor Utilities, founded in 1994 in Manchester, has substantially expanded its presence as a pivotal player in the UK’s utility services sector. To reflect the company’s growth and prominence, Habit Action was commissioned to design and construct a cutting-edge flagship headquarters in Stockport.

The Challenge

Habit Action was entrusted with the complete transformation of a mundane three-story office block into a state-of-the-art facility for O’Connor Utilities. The goal was to create a space exuding luxury and sophistication while offering functionality and comfort. Synergy Creativ was brought in to provide an extensive lighting solution, which included LED linear lighting, downlights, decorative pendant lights, and a striking feature ring pendant that beautifully cascaded through the stairwell. The challenge lay in harmoniously integrating these lighting elements to accentuate the grandeur of the revamped headquarters.

The Solution

Synergy Creativ’s expertise in lighting solutions played a pivotal role in the transformation of O’Connor Utilities’ flagship HQ. The array of lighting fixtures provided—LED linear lighting, downlights, decorative pendant lights, and the mesmerising feature ring pendant—were strategically positioned to enhance the space’s aesthetic appeal while ensuring functional brilliance.

The dramatic atrium, adorned with a stunning moss wall and cascading light feature, was a masterpiece of illumination crafted by Synergy Creativ. This lighting innovation not only added a visual allure but also created an inviting and inspiring ambiance. The thoughtful placement of lights in various zones, from the fully equipped gym and shower facilities to the breakout kitchen space and sumptuous lounge area with full AV capabilities, exemplified Synergy Creativ’s attention to detail and commitment to elevating the workspace experience.
