LED linear lighting was used in large quantities to add interest and draw attention to the unique exposed ceiling in the offices of Assala Energy in the Metro Building, Hammersmith, London W6.

The Challenge

This high-profile project required large quantities of contemporary suspended LED downlight/uplight fittings to be manufactured and delivered to site in a short timeframe. The stunning raw clay ceiling meant that all the services are exposed. Synergy therefore needed to coordinate with various teams to ensure a timely delivery to schedule and a smooth completion of the project.

The Solution

Synergy recommended the Polaris 17 LED linear luminaire in black. It’s profile and 50% up light and 50% downlight classification made it the ideal choice for adding interest by illuminating the exposed clay ceiling and meeting the required brief of New York loft apartment cool. The linear also has the benefit of making the light levels more uniform reducing the need for additional downlights.

Synergy produced the luminaries in their UK production facility ensuring fast delivery on time and to the schedule. Synergy coordinated with mechanical and electrical contractors, to ensure the smoothest possible installation.
