Micro profile LED Linear lighting is the star of this project. Helping to create a visually stunning entrance in Livingbridge’s new offices at 100 Wood Street. Designed by office fit-out supers stars the IOR Group who made use of further linear throughout the office area, meeting rooms and break out spaces. IOR Group has created a cool modern office in Sir Norman Foster’s beautiful building.

The Challenge
The reception lighting installation is a complex arrangement of slim profile LED linear; it was quite a challenge to create a solution to match the IOR Groups stunning design and provide enough light. The micro LED linear was so slim LED boards could not fit in it, so LED tape had to be used to create the desired effect. Further to this some sections needed blue LEDs which are not easy to source.
The unique shape of the building presented quite a challenge to get the lighting levels correct in the main office area and meet Livingbridge’s requirement for a UGR19 low glare lighting scheme.
The Solution
The Synergy team love a challenge and this project was just that. For the reception area lighting Synergy developed two new products Polaris 10 Micro LED Linear and Polaris 12 Micro LED Linear which are a surface/suspended slim profile luminaire and a recessed version. For the work areas such as the main office, meeting rooms and break out spaces Synergy’s UGR19 low glare lighting Polaris 17 was used. This was complemented with Dollo surface downlights to make lighting the space more flexible.
