The Project
Keybridge House, a state-of-the-art workspace development located in Vauxhall, London, represents a significant endeavour within the Nine Elms regeneration area. Designed by Modus Workspace, the project aimed to create a sustainable, flexible, and vibrant office environment that aligns with modern business needs and contributes to the larger urban revitalisation effort.
The Challenge
The challenge was to design and construct a workspace that not only met the highest standards of sustainability but also provided flexible and adaptable spaces to accommodate diverse tenant requirements. Additionally, the project needed to address the increasing demand for energy-efficient buildings while fostering employee well-being and promoting active commuting.
The Solution
Keybridge House tackled these challenges through a multifaceted approach. Sustainable design principles were integrated from the outset, resulting in features such as LED lighting, new exposed air conditioning systems, and raised floors to maximise energy efficiency and flexibility. Dedicated amenities such as showers, lockers, and drying rooms were incorporated to support employee well-being and encourage alternative transportation methods. The strategic location near transportation hubs ensured seamless connectivity for occupants and visitors, further enhancing the project’s appeal.
