The Project
Synergy Creativ was chosen to provide the lighting solutions for Dale Underwriting Partners’ new office in London, designed and built by Peldon Rose. The office spans 17,000 sq ft and is located in a prime area of the city. The space was designed with a focus on creating an innovative, collaborative, and functional environment for the business. With a modern aesthetic in mind, Peldon Rose’s design team aimed to create a dynamic office space that reflected the company’s forward-thinking approach while also meeting the practical needs of its employees.
The Challenge
The challenge for Synergy Creativ was to deliver a comprehensive lighting solution that aligned with the unique design vision while also providing practical and energy-efficient lighting throughout the workspace. The office needed to feature a variety of lighting styles that could be used in different areas, from the reception to meeting rooms and open-plan office spaces. With such a large, open environment, ensuring consistent lighting quality and minimising glare while still creating a welcoming and contemporary atmosphere was crucial.
The Solution
Synergy Creativ provided a range of lighting solutions to meet the specific requirements of the project. A large Polaris feature pendant box with curved corners was suspended above the reception desk, providing a striking focal point that also served as a functional light source for the entry area. In addition, a substantial quantity of Dolio 80 LED downlights was supplied, both surface-mounted and suspended, providing versatile and efficient lighting throughout the space. Recessed downlights were integrated into the ceiling design to provide subtle and focused lighting where required. Finally, the Polaris 52 LED linear lighting was used extensively throughout the office, offering clean, lines of light in corridors, meeting rooms, and breakout areas. This combination of feature, task, and ambient lighting ensured a well-lit, energy-efficient space.
