The Project
JRA, in collaboration with Alliance Architecture, partnered with Cooley LLP to complete the fit-out of their headquarters at 22 Bishopsgate in London. The objective was to create a wellbeing centred village for City workers, incorporating various interconnected neighbourhoods throughout the floor plates.
The Challenge
The challenge was to design a workspace that showcases the global Cooley brand while capturing the unique characteristics of the London space. The goal was to foster inter-departmental communication and create a visually appealing environment that maximizes natural light and provides uninterrupted views of the City of London.
The Solution
JRA, working closely with Cooley’s Design Architect, developed a design concept that focused on creating interconnected neighborhoods within the office space. Synergy Creativ, a renowned lighting manufacturer, was brought in to provide a lighting solution that complements the contemporary design and enhances the well-being and productivity of the employees. The lighting scheme incorporated elements such as low glare lighting, architectural integration, layered task and ambient lighting, and energy-efficient LED technology.
