Synergy was chosen to supply a LED linear lighting package for the office space throughout the building. The project included a site visit and survey, LED linear lighting scheme design, lighting calculations and technical resource, the supply of Polaris 1 LED Linear linear and aftersales support.
The Project
Peer Group PLC specialises in property investment, development and management in the office, retail, industrial and residential sectors. Occupying a superior position in London’s fashionable South Bank, this beautiful building was one of the latest additions to Peer Group’s portfolio, which they set about restoring to provide a bright, inspiring space that subtly juxtaposes the character of the old architecture with modern design to create premium contemporary office accommodation stretching across 4 floors.
The Challenge
The client was also keen for the LED linear lighting to comply with the latest glare regulations, meaning that the scheme required a UGR rating below 19. The design team welcomed the challenge and set about finding the best solution – this was the point at which our UGR<19 compliant low glare LED was born! Developed in house and after three months of research and development Synergy created thier first UGR19 LED Linear lighting solution.
The Solution
As part of Synergy’s offering the whole lighting package is taken care of, starting with a site visit and survey. Floorplans are then handed over to the Synergy design team who use specialised lighting design software to create a lighting scheme that gives the correct light levels across the whole building. Along with this, they undertake all the calculations involved in the lighting and also calculations for emergency lighting levels if applicable. At the design there was a number of revisions before final designs were approved.
